Stratton Mountain Resort has an impressive lineup of events for July — all of which will be kicked off by its annual Independence Day celebration this Friday, July 5th. Here we’ve compiled a list of Stratton’s most exciting and family-friendly activities to keep you entertained all month long.
Week of July 1st-6th:
- Friday, July 5th – Stratton’s annual Independence Day celebration is a 3-day event that begins at 9 p.m. on Friday night with fireworks at the main base area. DJ Joe Bell will play afterwards at the Green Door Pub (located below Mulligan’s in Stratton Village).
- Saturday, July 6th – Little River Band will be playing live at Stratton from 6-9 p.m., tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
- Saturday, July 6th – The Quins will be playing rock covers and originals at the Green Door Pub starting at 9 p.m.
Week of July 7th-13th:
- Friday, July 12th – Weekend Wellness Retreat Package: This weekend retreat includes a 2-night stay at Stratton’s Black Bear Lodge (breakfast included), with yoga, hiking, meditation, and massage alongside like-minded individuals. Price is $289 plus tax and fees.
- Friday, July 12th – Incredibles 2 will be showing at the main base lodge area at 8 p.m. This event is a FREE outdoor movie experience that is fun for the whole family!
- Friday, July 12th – Moose Crossing will be playing in Stratton Village from 5-8 p.m. Admission is FREE.
- Saturday, July 13th – Beer Vs. Wine: This is the first of three beer & wine tasting seminars at Stratton this summer. From 3-5 p.m. and for just $10, taste and enjoy a variety of Vermont cheeses with three different beers, and three different wines. Cabot Cheese has added their unique cheeses to the workshop, making this a real Vermont experience.
Week of July 14th-20th:
- Monday, July 15th – Stratton will be running its first round of the annual PGA Junior Golf Camp from Monday, July 15th to Friday, July 19th. Half day camp (9 a.m.-12 p.m. at $285) is available for kids ages 7-13, and full day camp (9 a.m.-4 p.m. at $495) is also available for kids ages 9-16. No matter their level of play, kids will be able to develop their golf skills in a fun, safe, and educational environment, and will leave with a better understanding of the game.
- Friday, July 19th – A Dog’s Purpose will be showing at the main base lodge area at 8 p.m. This event is a FREE outdoor movie experience that is fun for the whole family!
- Friday, July 19th – Rust and Ruin will be playing in Stratton Village from 5-8 p.m. Admission is FREE.
- Saturday, July 20th – Love dogs? Bring yours to Stratton’s Fidofest on Saturday, July 20th from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.! All dogs are welcome in Stratton Village to partake in a bunch of fun activities including The North Face Doggie and Me Hike, Doggie Parade, Pooch Splash Party, and more.
Week of July 21st-27th:
- Sunday, July 21st – Stratton will be running its annual PGA Competitive Edge Junior Golf Camp from Sunday, July 21st to Thursday, July 25th. An all-day camp for kids ages 12-17, No matter their level of play, kids will be able to develop their golf skills in a fun, safe, and educational environment, and will leave with a better understanding of the game. Prices are $1995 with lodging and $1695 without lodging.
- Friday, July 26th – The Great Outdoors will be showing at the main base lodge area at 8 p.m. This event is a FREE outdoor movie experience that is fun for the whole family!
- Friday, July 26th – Rust and Ruin will be playing in Stratton Village from 5-8 p.m. Admission is FREE.
- Saturday, July 27th – DJ Nook n’ Kranny will be playing at the Green Door Pub starting at 9 p.m.
