Basin Harbor Club has hit upon this holy triumvirate of festival perfection in their annual end-of-the-season bash, Rocktoberfest.
Dakin Farms will be providing locally raised bacon to be used in a myriad of mouthwatering and creative manners. Chocolate, caramel, bacon cupcakes. Maple-glazed, bacon-wrapped chicken skewers. Peanut butter, bacon whoopee pies. Caramelized onion, apple, and bacon flatbread. Just a few of the offerings to get your taste buds tingling.
Wash it down with some Woodchuck Hard Cider, or a bottle of Magic Hat’s Night of the Living Dead varieties. Or if you prefer to keep within the bacon theme, a WhistlePig Signature cocktail perhaps?
Live music, from bands such as Red Hot Juba and Funkwagon (plus several more throughout the event) will be there rocking your socks off and providing the ideal atmosphere to get down, relax and have a good time.
