Brattleboro high school sophomore, Brandon Johnson, was chosen as an on-th-air Celtics "Fancaster" after auditioning for the part at the Boys and Girls Club. Fifteen-year-old Johnson was one of 200 regional boys and girls between 13 and 18 chosen for the honor, sponsored by Comcast. Johnson will interview one of Comcast SportsNet’s "Heroes Among Us," as well as a professional sports player sometime this year. The Brattleboro Reformer said Johnson did not let the fact of never having attended a professional sports game get in his way. "I worked a lot, practiced and stuck with it," Johnson said. "You have to stay confident, put a smile on your face and enjoy what you are doing.". That’s good advice for all of us who will never get to the booth.
