COCHRAN SKI FAME CONTINUES WITH GOLD MEDAL

Ryan Cochran-Siegle of the infamous Vermont skiing Cochran family of Richmond is continuing the legacy. He won the downhill gold Friday, March 2 for the first U.S. Ski Team medal at the 2012 Alpine Junior World Ski Championships in Roccaraso, Italy. Winning time was .09 seconds over Swiss Ralph Weber. The win also earned Cochran-Siegle a downhill start at the World Cup Finals March 14 in Schladming, Austria. His win caps off an already successful season as he leads the tour standings in both downhill and super G. Way to go.
