This weekend on Saturday, August 12, you can join in one of the great Vermont events – the Harpoon Point to Point bike race in Windsor, Vt.  This event has become the largest fundraiser for the Vermont Foodbank raising over $1.3 million since its inception in 2002.  Come ride 100, 50, or 25 miles on the road or take the mountain challenge with the 20-mile mountain bike trial at Mt. Ascutney. The ride is well-organized, the scenery incomparable, and the post-ride party legendary. Hosted by Harpoon Brewery, the party features delicious BBQ, live music, and fresh beer straight from the source. (Showers are also available for riders!)
