Vermont ski resorts have received upwards of seven inches of fresh snow in the last 48 hours, as of today, Feb. 24. The National Weather Service has called for two more days of snowfall across Vermont to be followed by sunshine and comfortable temperatures. The Vermont Ski Areas Association is formally giving the Vermont legislature credit for the coming snow, as the Vermont House of Representatives today unanimously passed H.365 to designate skiing and snowboarding as Vermont’s official state winter sports. “The Snow Gods have responded and more snow is on the way in time for the second week of school vacations,” says Ski Vermont President Parker Riehle. So what are you waiting for? Get out and enjoy.
