HAPPY THANKSGIVING: SIX VERMONT RESORTS OPEN FOR SKIING, RIDING

The turkey is in the oven and skiers and snowboarders will be doing what they love best at six Vermont resorts this Thanksgiving weekend. Killington began to roll out the season a few weeks ago. Stowe Mountain Resort opened Wednesday. Okemo and Sugarbush let the family ski and play while the turkey cooks Thanksgiving Day. Forget shopping for anything but snow fun Black Friday as Bromley and Smugglers’ Notch crank up their lifts. Jay Peak welcomes the season Saturday.
