Needleman’s Bridal shop in South Burlington is a “hero” to many brides. The store is giving away 100 bridal dresses to “about-to-be-marrieds” of Vermont Guard members, says the Burlington Free Press. It is the store owner’s way of saying thanks to all those members who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Many of these couples have very tight budgets because of deployment and just coming back from the war zone to find jobs. What better way to say “welcome back.”
