The holiday festivities continue this weekend in Manchester starting off with several of the Manchester stores opening up their doors on Friday, December 11th from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm so you can find the perfect gift for all of the people on holiday your shopping list.
On Saturday, December 12th, the Manchester Historical Society will be providing free walking tours from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm of Bonnet St. and Main St. In the afternoon, several Manchester area inns and lodges will be opening up their doors to visitors from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm to show off their unique & festive holiday decorations. Tickets for this event are $15/person or 2 for $25.
Finally on Saturday night from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the Manchester Community Library will be hosting a Christmas Community Potluck Dinner. There will be hors d’ourves, seafood bisque, roast beef, turkey, stuffing and gravy. They are asking the community to bring the rest. Bring a dish that serves between 6-10 people. Last name: A-F: Salads, G-M: Sides and N-Z: Dessert. There will be a cash bar available and entertainment is to be provided by Melissa Levis from the Wilburton Inn.
