MOUNT SNOW OPENS BLUEBIRD EXPRESS; OFFERS $17 CLINICS

by Craig Altschul

Mount Snow is celebrating the opening of its new Bluebird Express chair – a six passenger, high-speed “bubble chair” – by offering $17 adult group clinics from Opening Day through Dec. 15. Resort officials hope the coming cold weather will let them open soon. Snowboarders get free lessons Dec. 18 as part of World Snowboarding Day. Clinics are two-hour sessions where students of similar abilities are grouped with a professional instructor who serves as a coach – a great way to brush up for the new season. The Bluebird Express will follow the same route up the mountain as its predecessor, the Summit Local triple chair did, but will cut the time in half to seven minutes.

I believe that ski trips are all about getting away from it all and having fun and Mount Snow encompasses everything a great ski vacation is made of. This is really a great experience to have.
