Skiers and riders visiting Burke Mountain in the Northeast Kingdom will find plenty of new enhancements, including a high-speed quad chair. The new Mid-Burke Express, scheduled to open by mid-December, reaches the summit seven minutes faster than the existing Willoughby Quad. The lift makes the entire mountain terrain accessible by high-speed quads. The resort is also opening up five new trails and glades for intermediate and experts. It’s all part of a multi-year improvement plan.
