PHOTOGRAPHER HUBERT SCHRIEBL’S STRATTON 50th BOOK ON SALE

Stratton, The First Fifty Years is a brand new coffee-table style book of photographs taken on the mountain by Hubert Schreibl, one of the world’s most famous ski and mountain photographers. The book is essentially a visual history of the popular Southern Vermont resort, which will be celebrating its anniversary all winter long. He first arrived at Stratton in 1964 to teach in Emo Henrich’s Ski School and became the resort’s official photographer in 1968. Hubert will be in Stratton’s 50th Anniversary Studio in the village to sign books as holiday gifts Dec. 3. from noon to 2 p.m. Hardcover copies of the book are $100, while a softcover version is $60.
