Pond Skimming Splashes to Bolton Valley March 24

The annual rite of spring skiing, also known as pond skimming, returns to Bolton Valley, Sat., March 24. Skimmers start on the slope in front of the Base Lodge to test their skill – luck? – at crossing the manmade pond. Entry fee is $5 (plus lift ticket or season pass). Skimming begins at 1 p.m., followed by awards and prizes. Don’t want to try crossing the pond? Watch others and cheer them on.
