Say Cheese!

by Linda Cassella

Cheesemakers from all over the state will travel to Shelburne Farms in Shelburne, VT for the 8th Annual Vermont Cheesemakers Festival that takes place on Saturday, July 17.

cheeseVermont is a world-class cheese state with the highest number of cheese makers per capita. Share the cheesemakers’ passion for making exceptional cheeses.  Attend one of the workshops or cooking demos.   Taste great local foods, wines, craft beers and spirits, and meet the artisans who make them.

Spend a summer day on the shores of Lake Champlain at the historic  Shelburne Farms Coach Barn sampling, buying, and learning all there is to know about cheese, and leave having made some new friends. The festival includes over 45 cheesemakers plus 80 artisan food, wine, beer, cider and spirit producers.
