It seems like the only things I can write about this time of year is the BoneBuilders exercise class, lunch at the Manchester Town Hall, and the “white gold” we call snow! I promise that things will get a lot more exciting soon enough! Speaking of the “white gold”… everyone in the State of Vermont should pray that the snow and cold continues. We want all the ski areas, lodges, restaurants, etc. to have an awesome year! The snowmobile association is excited for the first time in many years, they may actually get to ride on the opening day of the season, which this year is December 16.
Bubbie at 92 (soon to be 93) is definitely the oldest participant of the BoneBuilders group, and although she’s not the most agile, she is right up there in the top 5. Let’s hope I can even SEE my toes when I’m her age… that is of course if I ever get to be her age! Bubbie and my grandmother, Angelina, get together often and as I watch them talking or interacting I realize that they represent 186 years, that is such an amazing accomplishment… Mazel Tov and Felicitazioni to them both!
Lunch today was a pretty rowdy event. I was conversing with my friend Audrey, telling her about the phone call I received last evening from a man my cousin thought would be a good match for me. Never mind the fact that my cousin never informed me of this, or asked that he could give out my phone number! Pretty soon this information spread like wildfire to both ends of the long dining table and before I knew it I was being given love and dating advice from the 20+ seniors at the table. They all encouraged me to go out on a date with this man… they didn’t even want to know anything about him; they just want me to go out on a date and report back to them. Finally I have found my true calling… dating many men and reporting it all so that these wonderful people can live vicariously through me. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before… a real and legitimate reason to be naughty! 🙂 (Just kidding Dad… really)
Ciao for now… Bubbie & Me
Question… if olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
