Ski Season Is Winding Down

Spring is here and ski season is coming to a coming to an end.  Several of the ski areas in Vermont have already closed or will be shutting down this weekend for the season.

Here is  the current status of the Ski Areas in Vermont:

Northern Vermont – Jay Peak – Open (No set closing date)
Smugglers’ Notch  Resort– Final weekend of skiing.  Closing 4/3.
Stowe Mountain Resort – Open (Anticipated closing date 4/24)
Q Burke Mountain Resort – Closed for the season.
Bolton Valley – Closed for the season.

Central Vermont
Killington Mountain Resort – Open (No anticipated closing date)
Okemo Mountain Resort – Final weekend of skiing.  Closing 4/3.
Sugarbush Resort – Open (Anticipated closing date 4/10)
Mad River Glen – Closed for the season.
Middlebury Snow Bowl – Closed for the season. 
Pico Mountain
– Closed for the season.
Ski Quechee – Closed for the season.
Suicide Resort – Closed for the season.

Southern Vermont –
Stratton Mountain 
– Open (Anticipating closing date 4/10)
Mount Snow – Currently closed.  Will open on Saturday, 4/2 for the final weekend of skiing.
Bromley Mountain -Closed for the season
The Hermitage Club – Closed for the season.
Magic Mountain – Closed for the season.

Closing dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
