Want to get out for some winter exercise and support a good cause at the same time? Stratton Mountain Resort in Bondville, VT is hosting the 14th Annual Kormen Vermont-New Hampshire Race for the Cure snowshoe fundraising event.
The event kicks off at 9:00 am at Stratton’s Sunbowl Base Area. There is going to be 3 main events: Two non-competitive snowshoe walks (a 3k and a 5k). The next is the competitive 3k race with prizes for the top three male and female racers and the top three survivors.
This is a family-friendly event filled with high-energy and good times. Bring the kids along because there is going to be a free Snowshoe Dash for the 5 and under crowd. What is even better, no snowshoe experience is required. Don’t have snowshoes? No worries, there will be free snowshoe loaners available while they last from Snowshoe for the Cure’s Partner, Tubbs. (If you have a pair bring them along.)
Go crazy! Teams, silly attire, costumes( pink of course would be great) are all encouraged. Individual and team fundraising is encouraged. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day for the top fundraisers. There is even going to be a pre-Zumba warm up which is sure to be a lot of fun participate in. Each registrant receives a commemorative t-shirt.
