Travels with Bubbie

The Letdown

by Bubbie

When I walked into the Koffman house this morning I swear I could see my breath! Their furnace decided to take a vacation in the middle of the night… the coldest night of the year of course! I got Bubbie out of bed, wrapped her up like the abominable snowman, and put her in front of the pellet stove to eat breakfast. After that I got her dressed fast, and I mean fast, then we headed out to her Bonebuilders class. She was not real hip on that idea until I reminded her that at least the room would have heat in it. It did not take her too long to decide that that was a good idea after all.

After class, lunch was served… fresh homemade soup, homemade chicken potpies, red potatoes and a veggie medley. I’m telling you that this is the best meal around for $3 bucks. Everyone should make a point to try it out. You can come on either Tuesday’s or Thursdays at 11:30am, at the Manchester Town Hall. You do have to call so they have an accurate count… 802-362-3714.

At lunch, everyone was looking forward to me regaling them with my hot weekend with my new beau… boy were they ever let down when I had to tell them it was a bust. Half of them told me I should have made something up… they wanted to know that at least someone had a good time and maybe got lucky 🙂 I assured them that there would be more opportunities because as luck would have it this guy is very understanding and willing to give it another go, which I am very grateful for.

Ciao for now… Bubbie & Me
