THERE’S LOTS TO DO OFF THE SLOPES IN VERMONT, TOO

Wouldn’t it be nice to weatherproof winter vacations? Nice, but virtually impossible. Vermont ski resorts have had to expand beyond the usual winter offerings of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, etc., to offer specialized programs that are not weather dependent, says the Burlington Free Press. Programs such as yoga retreats, tennis, horseback riding, and hockey training camps are now being touted – for all ages, for all types of weather, and for all seasons. So, come for the skiing and riding and take advantage of everything else. But, as we say up here, “Don’t like the weather? Wait five minutes.”
