Twelve Angry Jurors

by Linda Cassella

Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester are doing their fall production of Twelve Angry Jurors on 11/4 through 11/7 at 6:30 pm the Riley Rink in Manchester.

angrySee how one man stands up alone against bigotry, confronts racism, and asks the jurors to question their own sense of justice.  As the jurors  re-examine what looks to be an open and shut case, a fiery drama that could lead to a guilty verdict and the death penalty is told.   Listen and watch as the whole judicial system unfolds before you.

Based on Reginald Rose’s Twelve Angry Men and directed by Jim Raposa, this story is as relevant today as it was 60 years ago when it appeared on CBS. Rewritten as the 1957 Academy Award nominated film starring Henry Fonda, this play has been produced throughout the world and was once again performed on TV in 1997 with George C Scott, Tony Danza, and James Gandolfini.

Tickets for the show are $7.00 for BBA students, faculty and staff and $12.00 for adults.
