U.S. SNOWBOARDING CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO STRATTON

The 30th annual Burton U.S. Open of Snowboarding returns to Stratton March 4-11. The Open is the final stop of the Burton Global Open Series, as well as the culminating stop on the men’s TTR World Snowboard Tour where the top male will be awarded the TTR World Title. The top male and female in the Open Series will be awarded $100,000 each. Events begin Monday, March 5 with slopestyle qualifiers at 9:30 a.m.; halfpipe qualifiers are March 6 at 1:45 p.m. The weekend features slopestyle and halfpipe finals, as well as a junior jam and halfpipe Sun., March 11. It’s an event like no other whether you’re competing or spectating. Don’t miss it.
