The Vermont Golden Honey Festival takes place on September 10th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the lawn of the Golden Stage Inn in Proctorsville, VT.

Did you know that the honeybee is Vermont’s state insect and that Vermont has its own Beekeepers Association? This is Vermont’s only honey festival and if you are not already a fan of the honeybee you are sure to be one after you leave the festival.  You will learn everything you need to know about honey with all of the presentations and demonstrations that are taking place that day.

This is a one of a kind event! The festival was voted one of the Top Ten Fall Events in Vermont in 2014 by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.  This festival will showcase honeybee-themed vendors, artists, food, kids’ crafts, and live music. Goodman’s American Pie will be serving up their famous honey dough and honey apple pizza right from their mobile beehive oven!  Champlain Valley Honey from Middlebury, VT is going to be at the festival showing off their crystallized honey, liquid honey, and their bath and body candles. Vermont Beekeeping Supply will be on hand for the first time this year with everything you need to know if you are thinking about starting beekeeping production.
