Vermont Ski Report as of 12/16/16

Here are the latest ski conditions as of 12/16/16.

Mother Nature was nice to us this past week and shook the snow globe bringing more snow to the region.  More ski areas are opening up thanks to some much need snow. The weather is also cold enough that the snow making guns are also up and running.

Northern Vermont:

Smugglers Notch Resort is almost 50% open with 31 trails and 3 lifts operating.  Their maximum base is 40″ of packed powder.  In the past 48 hours they have received an additional 8″ of fresh snow.

Jay Peak Resort is 40% open with 32 trails open and 3 lifts operating. Their maximum base is 47″ of machined groom snow.  Over the past 7 days they have received 52″ of snow with 10″ of that falling in the past 48 hours.

Bolton Valley Resort is open with 44% open with 26 trails and 3 lifts operating.  Their maximum base is 20″ of packed powder and in the past 7 days the have received 16″ of new snow.

Stowe Mountain Resort is 84% open with 97 trails open and 9 lifts operating.  Their maximum base is 40″ of packed powder.  They have received 6″ of fresh snow in the past 48 hours.

Sugarbush Resort is 36% open with 111 trails and 8 lifts operating. Their maximum base is 36″ of packed powder.  Over the past 48 hours they have received 11″ of fresh powder.

Burke Resort is 10% open with 36 trails and 2 lifts operating.  Their maximum base is 15″ of packed powder and they have received an additional 2″ in the past 48 hours.

Central Vermont:

Okemo Mountain Resort is 44% open with 53 trail and 9 lifts operating.  They have a maximum 20″ base of machined groom snow.  Although they have not received any additional snowfall in the past 48 hours, they are currently making snow on several of their trails

Killington Resort is 54% open with 83 trails open and 11 lifts operating.  They have a maximum base of 54″ of packed powder.  In the past 7 days they have received 19″ of new snow.

Pico Mountain is 42% open with 24 trails open and 3 lifts operating.  They have maximum base of 15″ of packed powder.  In the past 7 days they have received 19″ of new snow,

Mad River Glen is 62% open with 28 trails open and 1 lift operating.  They have a maximum base of 24″ of packed powder.  They have not received any additional snow in the last 48 hours but thanks to Mother Nature it is cold enough they are able to make snow.

Middlebury Snow Bowl is 24% open with 1 trail open and 2 lifts operating.  They have a maximum base of 26″ of packed powder and are currently making snow.

Southern Vermont:

Stratton Mountain Resort is 52% open with 50 trails open and 7 lifts operating.  They have a maximum base of 24″ of machined groomed snow and in the past 7 days they have received an additional 10″ of fresh snow.

Bromley Mountain is 40% open with 19 trials open and 2 lifts operating. They have a maximum base of 30″ of packed powder and they received 1″ of snow in the last 48 hours.

Mount Snow Resort is 48% open with 39 trails open and 5 lifts operating. They have a maximum base of 21″ of machine groomed snow and in the past 7 days they have received an additional 10″ of new snow.

The Hermitage Club is 24% open with 7 trails and 1 lift open. They have maximum base of 24″ of packed powder and in the past 7 days they have received 10″ of new snow.
