VERMONTERS GET UP TO 50 PERCENT OFF IN KILLINGTON AREA THIS MONTH

by Craig Altschul

Here’s the deal: Just show your valid Vermont drivers license at Killington at some 35 businesses near the Beast of the East this month and you can pick up discounts up to 50 percent including hotel nights, lift tickets, dining, and shopping. The reason: November may signal a limited opening at some resorts, notably Killington, it remains a ‘tweener from the fall foliage season and the beginning of winter tourism, hence the effort is made to attract more in-state skiers and snowboarders. “It’s definitely a great time for anyone who is looking to get to ski or snowboard or have a night out and go to dinner or even come up to Killington from across the state and stay,” says Killington Chamber of Commerce spokesperson Jillian Bourghholtzer. “It’s perfect for that because there’s all different types of deals.” You are the winner here, so get out on the ski slopes early.
